Senior Appreciation & Recognition Luncheon

June 28, 2025

We recognize Seniors from various Congregations for their services in the church, the community and to God. Christian Action for Renewal & Development (CARD) warmly invites you to our Annual Senior Luncheon. Every year, we honor and celebrate seniors aged 65 and over for their invaluable contributions to our church and broader community. Enjoy a delectable meal, gain insights on health and nutrition, be inspired by a motivational speaker, and witness the presentation of awards and tokens of appreciation to each deserving honoree. Join us in acknowledging the pillars of our community.

Past Honoree:

Lloyd Farquharson

Lloyd Farquharson is a member of United Moravian Church in Harlem, NY.

"Being honored by CARD I was elated, overjoyed and thankful.  The honor was greatly appreciated. I had a good feeling of being special for being selected from amongst the fellow nominees. When one is honored by a person or organization it should not be taken for granted, and that honor is usually seen as a good deed done to God and the community. CARD is a caring and sharing organization.  So, to CARD I say thank you for your service to the youths, to the aged, to the community and the Metro churches. May God bless the CARD organization and may it grow its members."
